One of the ways people learn about A Taste of Paradise and the life impacting work we do with young people, is through community engagement. Over the 20 years since our founders, Tim and Andrea Francis started A Taste of Paradise, Tim has been invited to attend many different community events as well as being invited to speak by different community and regional groups, clubs, churches and organisations.
In the beginning of our 20th year we still welcome invitations to speak at different events and groups to share with people in our community who we are, what we do and why we do it. It is an opportunity for people to learn about the ways our team of employees and volunteers support at-risk young people on the farm, as well as the ways this can positively impact our region.
It is an opportunity for groups to engage with us about how we use living things to help young people begin to trust again, start to build a reliable relationship with a mentor, and how these skills are transferrable to their everyday lives.
If you have never heard Tim speak before, or would like to hear from Tim and the team about the growth of both the team of employees and volunteers as well as changes to the farm, or would just like to know more, please contact our office administrator on 0490 060 251 or email us at info@atasteofparadise.org.au
