We are very excited to welcome Tara to our team of mentors. Her appointment is a response to the increasing number of young people being referred to our program at the farm. Tara comes to us with a nursing and teaching background and is also skilled in visual arts.
In the past few weeks, she has been undertaking training in the procedures at the farm and has now started mentoring. Tara’s appointment gives us the opportunity to include several more young people in the activities, all designed to increase life skills and practical skills in a nurturing environment. She joins our dedicated mentoring team, alongside Mark and Chloe.
Tara has joined us part-time while continuing her studies for a Master’s degree. She has a happy, easy-going personality and is fitting in well and enjoying participating in farm life.
We welcome Tara to the team and look forward to sharing her experience and enthusiasm.
